NEWS: HygeiaSleep CEO Bobby Morrison to Publish Groundbreaking Book, Sleep Clean

Dubai, UAE – June 2025
Bobby Morrison, Founder and CEO of HygeiaSleep, is preparing to launch his long-awaited book, Sleep Clean: The Untold Truth About Mattress Hygiene and Better Sleep—a bold, research-backed call to reimagine how the world approaches mattress hygiene in the hospitality industry and beyond.

A Personal Journey That Sparked a Global Movement

The idea for Sleep Clean was born in 2023, when Morrison’s wife returned from a luxury Paris hotel covered in bed bug bites during the now-infamous Paris bed bug outbreak. That alarming incident—set in a five-star environment—exposed a deep industry flaw: mattress hygiene had no global standard.

What followed was a year-long investigation, fueled by scientific research, international interviews, and Morrison’s determination to shine a light on one of the industry’s most overlooked health risks. From dust mite infestations and bacterial contamination to the rising trend of travel influencers inspecting hotel mattresses, Sleep Clean is both a wake-up call and a roadmap to reform.

Not Just a Book—A Mission

As CEO of HygeiaSleep, Morrison has been working with global hospitality leaders, health organizations, and governments to create the HygeiaSleep Certification Program (HCP)—a worldwide initiative built on scientific rigor, staff training, and public transparency.

In Sleep Clean, readers will explore:

  • The hidden world inside every mattress
  • The biological byproducts of sleep and their long-term health impact
  • The connection between mattress hygiene, respiratory illness, and guest experience
  • The global response to bed bug outbreaks and how to prevent the next one
  • How hotels, governments, and guests can work together to raise hygiene standards

Coming Soon

Sleep Clean is set to launch later this year, with early access provided to members of the HygeiaSleep Certification Program.

“It’s not just about clean beds,” Morrison explains. “It’s about protecting the health of millions of travellers and giving them peace of mind. Clean sleep should be a human right—not a luxury.”
